On the subject of taking a later bus to heaven does Jesus' comment relate to our thinking concerning our preference to wait for a future bus to heaven?
"Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me."
Does not wanting to leave our spouse or wanting to see our children or grandchildren graduate, marry, have children, etc. instead of being with Jesus suggest we love them more than we love Jesus?
I am not talking about being suicidal just our attitude. Paul said:
"For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain."
Is remaining here a benefit to Jesus or just our preference?
