On The Question of Authority, the longer one is a believer the less one thinks like an unbeliever.
Why should a person who has no religious beliefs look to the Bible for answers to questions they do not have? We start in a place the non-believer is not aware exists. The all encompassing authority of the Bible? Words spoken and written by the creator of everything seen and unseen. Why should anyone believe that? Folks who accept the Bible as from the Creator have to put themselves into a position where the unbelievers ask questions. Why do you do that? Why don't you do this? Why should they look at the Bible as "Gods' Word?" Sitting in our buildings listening to people say things we already agree with doesn't seem to do much for the folks who do not believe what we believe.
